A mistake that I did, was that I though I'm going to marry my fiance, not her family. The jokes about mothers in law are quite popular over here. But when I hear them now, they have a bitter flavour. I told my mother in law that I would marry her doughter regardless of who her parents were. Strangly for me, she took that as an offence. I would like to explain how she took it, but I really don't understand it.

I had a good job, car, I do not drink, I do not smoke. I was ready to live on my own. We knew each other for over 3 years - that's what I though. It was not true: I expected her not to change. She did. She on the other hand expected that I'll change. And I didn't.

I was ready to dedicate everything to the familly. Time, money, effort, relationships. But it did not work, because I'm a geek. I'm too much self confident. I don't care what other people say about me. If you don't like me, don't bother me and I'll not bother you. I do not expect much and I'm content with a little.

I believe that I what you feel for each other matters, and that's all that matters. It can be true for you, but it does not have to be. Take care.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it. --George Bernard Shaw
